Jan 1, 2025: Easy way to pre-fill more dates into any of your daily tables

Did you run out of dates in the habit tracker table (in the appendix)? Use this free Chrome extension to easily add another year’s worth of dates: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/notion-date-filler/fejlopadadjhidmmmggdkbipcpgedgjp?

The first thing we’ll want to do in the Appendix - Habit Tracker table is to make the “Date” property is visible. Click the menu, then select Properties and ****find the “Date” property. If it’s under “hidden in table”, click the eye icon to unhide it.

Now install the chrome extension, then enter the start and end dates you want to fill. If you want daily dates, just click “Copy” without selecting anything else.

Now you’re going to need to paste the dates into two columns, “Name” and “Date”. Starting with the Name column, make sure the cell where you want the new dates to start is selected, then paste with CTRL+V (windows) or CMD+V (Mac). If the dates look out of order or in reverse order, just select that first cell and paste again over it.

Paste with CTRL+V (windows) or CMD+V (Mac) into the Date column. You should also see the Day column automatically populate

The last thing you’ll want to do is hide that “Date” property again, so it doesn’t clutter your view in Daily Work!
